Thieves of Sunrise, Sidestreet Reny

ABOUT THIEVES OF SUNRISE-- Thieves of Sunrise, an intense rock and soul quintet from Dallas TX, aims to bring their rock and roll ruckus to the world. They've been featured on radio stations in England, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Australia, and all across Europe and America. Their highly improvisational and attention-stealing show has been featured in festivals, theaters, concert halls, and rock clubs across the United States since they formed in 2010. The band has recently performed at the notable American Airlines Center at Victory Park, Historic Lakewood Theater, Gas Monkey Dallas, and the House of Blues in New Orleans. Thieves of Sunrise brings funky, soul-infused southern rock back with a sound that is as original as it is classic, with influences pouring from the golden ages of rock and blues records. In this way, Thieves of Sunrise feels like finding an old, dusty vinyl record and discovering that the songs still resonate today. The band is led by singer Matthew Marcus McDaniel, whose distinctive voice and soulful belt command attention while his ripping harmonica allows for the foot stomping. Curtis Crofford and Miles Mathewson form the rhythm section, hammering out sharp beats and deep, sultry grooves. Shaun Crawford and Jake Stewart add the sweetness and rock and roll authority with electrifying guitar lines and memorable riffs. Jake doubles on the organ to take the whole band to church. Punchy backing vocals, smooth percussion and the occasional horn section round out the soundscapes. The result is a celebration guaranteed to get heads bobbing, hearts pounding, and hips shaking. "Soul Stew", the band's latest release, has been featured on radio stations from the heartland of the US to the shores Down Under and lands between. The album's bone-shaking blues roots and authentic soul-rattling southern swagger has appealed to fans around the globe. The band continues to tour in support of the record and the newly released vinyl copies. Go to a show, listen to the record, spread the good word, and join the rock and roll revolution.

ABOUT DIOR WORTHY-- Danitrius Worthy known as D.Worthy is a young, ambitious and hardworking 20-year-old lyricist, writer and poet. Worthy was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio until he was ten years old when he moved to Vancouver, Washington, which is where he currently lives and works. D.Worthy is also a full time college student working on his major in business. Even though D.Worthy has only been on the music scene for a little over a year, he is already receiving widespread attention ranging from local newspapers to social networking sites. D.Worthy's music fits into a multitude of different genres due to his versatility as an artist. His inspirations consist of artist like the late greats Tupac Shakur (R.I.P.) and Christopher Wallace, to the melodic and emotional sounds of rhythm and blues artist like the Dream, Aaliyah and D'Angelo. Along with that he embraces the artistically abrasive style of alternative rock groups like Coldplay. With Worthy's poetic style of story telling mixed honest and sincere lyrics over euphoric, eerie and ambient production. Worthy creates a style of hip-hop few dare to create and or copy. D.Worthy's mixtapes "Patience Is A Virtue" and "Anticipation" are great additions to any music library. Worthy states that, "the projects will tell the story of his life from the bumps and bruises to the successes he is currently experiencing present day." The songs on both tapes will each tell a story and will range from slow and eerie to upbeat and dynamic. Leaving songs for everyone no matter their mood. The mixtapes also feature production from some of the best up and coming producers along with instrumentals from established ones. D.Worthy Is backed by a collective group of his closet friends and business partners, all college students and graduates named respectively "The Honor Roll". The Honor Roll manages and maintains a blog, in house clothing company "Cordial Clothing " and direct, edit and shoots their own Web series.

RAR, Mechanism, Chemical Rage, My Regrets

ABOUT RAR--- Firstborn grandson from a big family, all of whom were musicians, Robert was going to band rehearsels since he can remember. At 10 he started to play guitar, drums and keyboards, by 12 he was cutting his teeth on CCR and Skynyrd, "A half black kid with an afro playin' in his uncle's country rock band." Time passed and Robert put together some of his first bands, Screamer, Pegasus, Archer, Screaming Fetus, Fade to black, Passion Fatal and finally "Love Lode," his most succesful endeavor to date. After "Love Lode" broke up there was a period of soul searching, sick of being "who's that guitar player that plays for....." he decided it was time to front his own band, and finally be who he was supposed to be. It took some time to find the right players, but finally with Bryce Van Patten, (from Babylon, Wild Dogs and his own label Man In Black Music) on rhythm guitar, keys, programming, engineer and production duties, and Robert's best friend from high school, Ted Behm from "Anger Management" shredding on Bass along with another long time friend and collaborator, local legend: Dan Carlson from "Love Lode" on drums. The line up is now set in stone, "Let the ones with vision, stand on it to witness the new, let the blind be crushed beneath it, never knowing what they missed."

ABOUT CHEMICAL RAGE--- Forming in the spring of 2013, Chemical Rage is a Portland, Oregon based metal band. The band is full of diverse players coming from all walks of life- most of whom are veterans of the music industry. The energy and talent that Chemical Rage has to offer is derived from the life experiences of the members that make up the band. The style of music the band focuses on is a very diverse type of metal. It covers strong metal riffs to dark melodic overtones - with a fierce "backbite". Their song titled "Aint So Easy" sums up the core belief of CR, "Life is what you put into it - its a work in progress - you get what you give," says lead vocalist Carl LaMarr. "The music of CR is alive - we live and have lived through the representation of our songs in music and lyrics."

ABOUT MY REGRETS-- Pop punk on the introspective My Regrets is the newest group of street-level music veterans ready to claim the Portland punk rock scene as their own. While proudly wearing the oft-dismissed label of "pop punk", their brand of gritty, hook-laden punk rock n roll is fun, fast, and clever. Rather than lash out with whiney anthems about teen angst and the unfairness of society, My Regrets' lyrics are deeply introspective, like the snapshot of a failed relationship titled "This is Just Retarded"; the ode to risk-taking and the unknown, "Crows Feet"; and the anthemic "Follow Your Scars", a tribute to wearing your pain as armor and taking control. Blending the best of punk rock, present and past, and expertly crafting with finesse an exciting blend of danceable beats, chanting choruses, and just plain don't-give-a-fuck fun, My Regrets is sure to make in indelible mark on the Portland punk rock scene.

Saving Aether, Blue Helix, Second Player Score

ABOUT BLUE HELIX-- Blue Helix is a musical quartet on the cutting edge of modern rock with a uniquely potent blend of the core genre and its many sub-genres. Following in the hallowed footsteps of instrumental pioneers from Threshold to Led Zeppelin, their energy derives from the steel-on-steel sparks where rock fights itself for raw dominance - technique locked tooth-in-claw with a fierce need to be apart from the establishment, partly for its own sake and partly to stay just as righteous as it always wanted to be. Yet in the fight to stand out, there is also a struggle to learn and to be understood. In the indomitable spirit of strength that embodies rock, Washington's Blue Helix stand against the darkness and for something much greater. Thriving on the energies and individual personalities of each member, Blue Helix reigns as a tribute both to its members's lives and to their vision.

Unicorn Death, Empyrean Throne

ABOUT UNICORN DEATH-- Having met over various stages and at different times in their musical careers, there was only one reason for these metal heads to come together now... to make the most epic, symphonic, legend metal that could be made by man! Inspired by ancient myths, Nordic legends, Viking gods and the brutality of middle-earth warfare. Unicorn Death combines harmonizing guitar solos & haunting vocal melodies with intricately orchestrated keys & in-your-face blast beats. With such amazing and awe inspiring music, many wonder about the name. Simply put, "...[the band name] derived from the idea of being impaled by a unicorn's mystical horn, followed by the brutal and painful process of bleeding out, resulting in death", says Cassie Morris (keys and vocals). Since the release of their six-song E.P. in November of 2012, these metal-gods have gained a huge Southern California following and have furiously been writing new material non-stop. With a total of nine songs, to date, and a few more in the works, there will surely be much more to look forward to in the near future!

Insane Clown Posse, Young Wicked, DS8, Knothead

ABOUT INSANE CLOWN POSSE-- When Insane Clown Posse (ICP) emerged from the darkness surrounding Detroit's underground music scene in the early 90s, the world had yet to imagine the impact that the hardcore hip-hop style spawned by these two artists -- Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope -- would bring to bear on mainstream music. Shunned by mainstream music players like MTV and castigated in the media, banned from radio airwaves and yanked from the shelves of "conventional" retail outlets, ICP was dealt a hand that seemed destined for swift and certain failure. Instead, the duo amassed a following of millions of fans endearingly called "Juggalos" and smashed through the ceiling of music industry expectation.

Ill Nino, Bobaflex, Terror Universal, Saint Diablo, Simon Says Die, The Intercedent

ABOUT SAINT DIABLO-- Three years after releasing their self-titled national debut, Virginia's SAINT DIABLO have returned with their sophomore metal masterpiece entitled 'Devil Horns and Halos'. The album was produced by Tim "Rumblefish" Gilles (Anthrax, Taking Back Sunday, ill Nino) at Big Blue Meenie studios in Jersey City, NJ. The new album features ten ferocious tracks of raging metal, which capture the band's abilities as songwriters and performers like they've never been showcased before. A lot can happen in three years time however. "Our label Eclipse Records elected the option to deliver a second album, so we got the opportunity to work with Tim Gilles of Big Blue Meenie recording studios. After spending a couple months in pre-production with his team, we began tracking the new material with Tim in September of 2013" states guitarist Justin Adams. "We were on cloud nine, working with a well-known producer in a world-class recording studio. Tim's approach to capturing our sound was so inspirational. This was what we dreamed of all our lives, and then life threw us some pretty significant detours... I got divorced, and shortly thereafter I was diagnosed with cancer." "He was faced with some difficult decisions, and the lyrics for 'Survive This' were written about him" states vocalist Tito Quinones. "I was impressed with how he balanced the pain, faced his mortality, and was still able to write and perform some of the most powerful music that's ever come out of him. Right around the same time, our previous bass player had to leave the band and our tour manager Tyler Huffman replaced him." Tito continues, "My wife and I had to move twice in 2014 due to her job, then my mother who had been suffering from Alzheimer's passed away. We were very close and her death hit me real hard. I dropped everything, went back to Puerto Rico, and just spent some time with family." The title track 'Devil Horns and Halos' however, hits particularly close to home for the band. "The honest folks wear their devil horns, so you know what you're getting... they are out for themselves" states Tito, "but the halo-wearers are the masked ones you're unsure of. They're supposed to be the good guys, but often they end up showing their true colors. The frustration and confusion of this dynamic is what Devil Horns and Halos is all about." In countless ways however, the band saw beauty come out of tragedy in the time between the last album and this one. Drummer Brian Bush welcomed the birth of his son, the band eventually completed the new album, and Justin Adams is now finally cancer free. "At the end of the day, I believe it's safe to say that we've all finally arrived to a common place, and that place is a re-invigorated and re-imagined SAINT DIABLO that is ready to release the very best album and live performances of our careers. We are fortunate to be able to create from the things that life gives us" states Tito Quinones. "Being able to share these things with the world is what it's all about".

Curren$y

ABOUT CURREN$Y-- Curren$y's career flight plan has not come without a few layovers along his burgeoning career. Initially signed to fellow New Orleans rapper C-Murder's Tru Records in 2001, Curren$y was brought over to Master P's New No Limit Records in 2002 after the founder was sentenced to jail. From 2004-2007, Curren$y enjoyed a stint on Cash Money Records as part of Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment before venturing out on his own, releasing a series of mixtapes and focusing on his Jet Life apparell and lifestyle brand. In 2009, the effort paid off as Curren$y, in recognition of his talent and drive, was hand-picked to grace the cover of XXL's "Top 10 Freshman" issue amongst the likes of B.O.B, Kid Cudi, Wale and others. Later that year, the now independent rapper released his debut album This Ain't No Mixtape and the follow-up Jet Files through Amalgam Digital. In 2010, Curren$y released his Pilot Talk and Pilot Talk II albums through Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Damon Dash's BluRoc Records distributed by Def Jam Recordings. The two mixtapes moved an unprecedented 40K and 30K sold units with minimal effort and has helped the talented lyricist generate over $750K in touring on his own. Curren$y is now gearing up to release his fifth and sixth studio albums Muscle Car Chronicles and the anticipated Pilot Talk III. Fans eager for the new music can should keep an ear out for a new mixtape produced by infamous producer Alchemist (Eminem, Nas, Snoop Dogg, Ghostface Killah) entitled Covert Coup which will be available April 19th on iTunes, just in time for the 4/20 holiday.
